Aiming Students Towards Success.
Last month, BELLA+CANVAS, Supacolor, and MADE teamed up to help Business of Student Success (BOSS) educate and inspire students to grow artistically and professionally through the power of apparel decoration. BELLA+CANVAS’ goal was to introduce the group of students to the apparel manufacturing and distribution process as well as the accessibility and diversity of design and print. After touring the BELLA+CANVAS cutting facility and distribution center, the students were gifted with customized garments to take with them. Using three different graphics designed and produced by MADE on trending fleece garments in three colors from B+C (3749’s and 3901’s), the group had nine different combinations to choose from.

Supacolor generously provided full-color digital/screen hybrid Wearable™ heat transfers for this design. For ultimate ease in application, these transfers were produced on their new mylar film, which allows for a more forgiving peel after the sweatshirts have been heat pressed. “Hot Peel” transfers typically have to be peeled immediately after pressing, but with the new mylar transfers, the operator has a greatly increased window of time to peel the film allowing for reduction in spoilage and maximization of efficiency.
Results.
The activities and decorated fleece gifts inspired and enlightened students to the world of decorated apparel.
